We believe the tool should adapt to the problem, not the other way around.
By bringing high-resolution optical imaging through a fiber approximately the width of a human hair, Modendo creates new paths to investigate hidden failures, observe delicate biology, and develop smaller imaging technologies.
OUR STORY
From pioneering research to a platform for discovery.
Modendo grew from foundational research in computational imaging, wavefront control, and light propagation through multimode fibers.
Our founders and technical leaders helped demonstrate that a single ultrathin fiber could become a programmable microscope delivering illumination, collecting optical information, and producing high-resolution images without conventional scanning hardware at the probe tip.
Today, we are translating those breakthroughs into practical systems for semiconductor inspection, neuroscience, and medical innovation.
